Did you know that her talk during the first run of Lady Traders Confession in 2016 was one of the most sought after talks, due to her specific technical trade plays? You’ve got to watch her teach her actual trades!

Speaker: Charmagne Munoz Feria
Topic: Pure Technicals: The Mortal’s Guide to the Philippine Stock Market
Charity to help: The Healthy Kidchen

Charmagne Munoz Feria had been trading the Philippine stock market for the past 12 years. She is the champion of the Virtual Stock Market Trading Competition of the Manila Times in 2018. Using her alias, Pixiu, she was the only female in the competition.

“I had this WHY (I joined): The Philippine stock market community is dominated by males . I am a full time housewife , and a stay at home mom to my 5 homeschooled kids. In joining the competition, I would like to show women that the doors are wide open to female traders in our local market. If you feel helpless and financially unable to support your family due to disability or family constraints , the Philippine stock market is a venue by which you can empower yourself financially and personally.”

In fulfillment of this vision of empowerment, she provides free technical analysis lessons through her You Tube Channel, Pixiu Trades. She also manages a trading community , where she shares lessons, trading strategies and charts to new and experienced stock market traders for free. She also authors the blog, pixiutrades.wordpress.com.

Charmagne is a guest lecturer for the UP System Information Technology Foundation at Diliman , where she regularly holds hands-on Stock Market Technical Analysis Workshops that cater to middle income Filipinos who want to get started in the stock market but could not afford the exorbitant rates offered by many so called stock market “gurus.” She also holds special stock market workshops such as “FOCUS”, the High Probability Trades Workshop series and the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Trading Strategies Workshops .

Charmagne was previously a premium contributor for Bookaka.com, a charting service for stock market traders, where she was known as Simple Trader.

She earned her Master’s degree in Information Systems Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

She experienced life as a struggling student in London . She worked several jobs to augment the family income. From working as a cashier in a bakeshop and as a Math and Filipino tutor, she also worked as webpage designer for the Philippine Embassy in London , as an IT Department Trainer for the London School of Economics , as computer lab supervisor for Richmond University and as Data Services Assistant at Imperial College. All these while she was completing her studies and starting her own family. That experience was a turning point in her life. The struggles, which included loneliness and depression reminded her to appreciate the people around her , to be grateful for the blessings and to pay it forward all the time.

On completion of her studies, she worked as a Professor at the University of the Philippines Computer Science Department. Prior to her stint abroad, she worked in Brand Management for consumer good companies. She was also a writer / contributor for the Manila Bulletin, where she wrote about technology in her column, Open Notes. She wrote textbooks , which include “Introduction to Information Technology and Open Office.org” and “Tekkids”, a technology textbook that is used by elementary schools for their Computer education classes. Charmagne wrote her stock market trading book “Pure Technicals: The Mortal’s Guide to the Stock Market “ and is hoping to get it published soon.
She chose to help support Healthy Kidchen campaign, their family charity, which prepares healthy recess and lunch meals for underprivileged children in public schools.
